Malvazija’s pedigree is firmly entrenched in Istrian’s rock-laden white soil – it’s then split between 70% barrel and 30% steel fermentations, with a brief skin contact (orange wine-ish, but passes as white). Bright gold hues, not dull and oxidized. Soft texture, quince aroma, and floral notes, with a bit of earthy savoriness. Sweet spices and aromatic herbs like sage, present but subtle. Give it a 15-30 min. decant for best results.
